David Beckham offers fans the chance to go head-to-head with him on the football pitch followed by an intimate lunch in support of COVID-19 relief

David Beckham has offered his fans the chance to go up against him and his football team at their home ground in support of COVID-19 relief.

The former footballer, 44, has promised he ‘won’t go easy’ on his opponents during the five-a-side game which is part of the All In Challenge.

Football fans will be able to go head-to-head with David on the pitch and later enjoy a lavish lunch with the star at his Miami-based facility.

David looked sharp in a crisp white T-shirt as he made the announcement to his 62 million followers on IGTV on his Instagram page on Wednesday afternoon.

He penned alongside the video: ‘I’ve accepted the #AllInChallenge with Inter Miami FC. We are offering you and friends the chance to go up against me and my team at our training facility… and I’m not going to hold back!  

David added: ‘Spend the day with me at our stadium and after we’ve played we’ll have lunch and watch an Inter Miami game together. This is all for such an important cause.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ I’m hoping to see you on the pitch very soon! I’m nominating Manchester United, Real Madrid and PSG to go all in.’

Entries start at $10 for 10 entries and go up to $100 dollars for 200, which is the maximum amount of times that any one person can enter.

The fees raised through the raffle will go directly to charities Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, Word Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry.

The cost of the entry also includes a plane ticket to the ground as well as accommodation for the winner and five friends.

The time of the game will be mutually agreed by the club and winner once life returns to normal following the coronavirus pandemic.

David is currently isolating with his family in their country pile in the Cotswolds, after heading their before lockdown with his wife Victoria, 46, and their children.

They have been joined by Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15 and Harper, eight. However their eldest Brooklyn, 21, is holed up with his girlfriend Nicola Peltz in Los Angeles.
