Los Angeles city Mayor Eric Garcetti has urged citizens to don face masks while venturing outside of their homes in wake of COVID-19.

But Chris Martin braved the open air on Tuesday sans mask, while enjoying a socially distanced bike ride around his Malibu neighborhood.

The 43-year-old Coldplay frontman zoomed the streets in a black thermal top and a pair of grey joggers.

Martin erred on the side of caution by wearing a neon green and black helmet atop his head.

He rounded out his ensemble with a pair of white lace-up sneakers with blue detailing that matched his Rocky Mountain bicycle.

Even while living life in lockdown, Chris has had as busy of a schedule as ever.

Martin was the highly anticipated musical guest during this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live At Home.

For his TV spot, the singer performed a haunting, acoustic rendition of the Bob Dylan classic Shelter From The Storm.

The performance, filmed in black and white, featured Chris in his home office with a guitar in hand as his voice ebbed and flowed through the song’s melody.

Behind him were signs that read ‘Entrance to Trains,’ which paid homage to the official Saturday Night Live Grand Central Station themed staging set-up.

When Martin is not showcasing his musical skills to the world, he is busying being father to his two children, 14-year-old son Moses and 15-year-old daughter Apple.

Martin shares Moses and Apple with ex wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 47, who he ‘consciously uncoupled’ from in 2014.

The pair originally wed in 2003 and officially ended their marriage in 2016.

But, even with a lengthy marriage under their belts, Chris and Gwyneth have an amicable coparenting relationship.

Last week the Goop founder shared a throwback photo of Moses and Chris engaging in a jam session, in honor of the teen’s birthday.

Since her split from Martin, Gwyneth remarried and is now the happy wife of American Horror Story creator Brad Falchuk.

After three years of dating following their meet-cute on the set of Glee, the couple became engaged and exchanged vows at Gwyneth’s  East Hampton, New York, home in September 2018.

Martin has been in an on and off romance with actress Dakota Johnson since 2017.
