As the coronavirus lockdown enters its fourth week, many are getting very creative with food substitutions as they struggle to find the ingredients they need in supermarkets.
But one home cook has taken being imaginative to a new level, mixing two Easter staples by serving a roast dinner in a chocolate egg, and raising eyebrows across social media.
The UK woman, known only as Shazza D, shared a video to the Facebook group Rate My Plate showing pork, cooked with mashed potato, carrots and stuffing inside half a chocolate Easter egg.
In the clip, she pours a thick gravy onto the dinner, which eventually cracks the egg and spills onto the plate.
The post by the admin of the page, and it quickly racked up hundreds of comments with commenters sharing their disgust.
‘All that savoury in a chocolate egg! Why! Why god damn you why!’ wrote one.
‘I’m hoping this a Heston Blumenthal-style optical illusion…’ said another.
‘My roulade I am eating almost swerved back, saving on dishes are we?’ questioned a third.
‘You’ve just ruined Easter for me. Thank you’ said another.
‘The only thing good about that slop is the carrot… I’d poke myself in the eye with it, in the hope of unseeing it…’

‘Actual footage of the Easter Bunny vomiting’ said person.
While some questioned if she was drunk when she made the creation.
‘She’s clearly seen the earlier post and been drinking whisky out of an Easter egg and this is the result. I’m all for creative drunkenness,’ another added.

Many weren’t offended by the chocolate and savoury combination, but instead were upset at the thickness of Shazza’s gravy.
‘Forget the chocolate…. why is the gravy like that. add more hot water hun, even my dog would turn his nose up to that’ said on.
‘This makes me sad! Not only is your gravy lumpy af and the meal don’t look good enough to feed a homeless dog but sh*t that combo is an insult to anyone that looks at it! You should be ashamed of yourself!
