Pip Edwards leans on her friends for support as she puts on a brave face following her breakup with ex-boyfriend Michael Clarke

Last week, it was revealed that Pip Edwards and Michael Clarke’s whirlwind romance was over, less than a year after they went public together.

And now the P.E Nation designer is getting through the breakup the best way she can – by putting on a brave face and enlisting the help of her nearest and dearest.

On Sunday, the 41-year-old was spotted in Bondi with an extra spring in her step after catching up with her best friend and Pilates instructor, Leah Simmons.

Moving on: Pip Edwards is getting through her break-up with Michael Clarke the best way she can – by putting on a brave face and enlisting the help of her nearest and dearest

Pip put on a brave face during the outing, smiling from ear to ear as she warmly embraced her friend.

The fashion designer has been surrounded by supportive friends in the wake of the split, who have taken her to Pilates classes and sauna sessions.

‘Ready for the new week,’ an optimistic Pip wrote alongside a sweaty selfie of herself and a friend after a sauna session.

In a post on Instagram on Friday, Leah shared a smiling photo of herself standing alongside Pip while overlooking Bondi Beach.

‘Taking in that beautiful view,’ Leah captioned the photo, just hours after Pip’s breakup was revealed.

Pip and Michael, 39, are understood to have split in recent weeks, less than a year after the celebrity couple went public with their relationship.

While they were inseparable for much of the relationship, neither has featured on the other’s Instagram since Australia Day – the same day the fashion designer landed herself in hot water for an unfortunate social media post.

When contacted about their split on Friday, Pip told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I have no comment, no comment at all.’

Sources close to the pair said while they have gone separate ways, they remain good friends and the split is ‘amicable’.

Another said that despite the couple’s propensity for loved-up Instagram posts, over recent times: ‘Things had been rather rocky’.

Pip and Michael are believed to have started dating shortly after the former cricketer split from his wife of seven years, Kyly Clarke, in September 2019.

Michael and Kyly, 39, announced their split in February last year, around the same time Pip and Michael denied they were an item.
