Sarah Michelle Gellar opts for casual glamour in a low-key smock dress

Sarah Michelle Gellar was all smiles as she enjoyed a relaxing day with her family on Sunday.

The Buffy The Vampire Slayer star, 43, wore a loosely-fitted black smock dress as she strolled around her Los Angeles neighbourhood while carrying her son’s scooter. 

The actress kept comfortable in white trainers and wore a white face covering around her neck.  

The mother-of-two was carrying a small black phone case with a light brown strap across her body. 

Ensuring her little ones kept safe during their weekend outing, Sarah dutifully carried a black protective helmet with the scooter.  

The actress wore her blonde hair straight and swept over to the side, while opting for natural make-up.  

Sarah has been married to actor Freddie Prinze Jnr, 44, since 2002 after meeting on the set of teen horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer several years earlier.  

The couple are proud parents to daughter Charlotte, 11, son Rocky, eight.  

Earlier this month, the actress said Rocky, eight, has nearsightedness and his vision has been getting worse recently. 

She added that he was having difficulty focusing on screens while doing his schoolwork. 

In an interview with TODAY Parents earlier this month, she said: ‘I really chalked it up to screen fatigue because my kids didn’t have a lot of access to devices [before the coronavirus quarantine].

‘All of a sudden they’re thrown into this world where they’re on Zoom for school and the only way they can connect with their friends afterwards is to continue on these devices. It was not something my kids were used to.’ 

Sarah shot to fame in 1997 in teen classic TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer. 

The show ran for five years and a reboot was announced in 2018 with its original creator Joss Whedon on board as executive director. 

Sarah is not believed to be reprising the role which made her a household name.
