The sighting comes after it was revealed last month that Sheridan is set to star in a moving documentary about her journey to motherhood, after welcoming her son Billy in May.

The actress will appear on the ITV special Sheridan Smith: Becoming Mum this autumn, which will also explore her struggles with mental health as she visits psychiatrist Dr Alain Gregoire.

Sheridan has been incredible open about her struggles with mental health following the death of her father Colin in 2016.

The documentary will follow Sheridan throughout her pregnancy, after announcing last year that she was expecting her first child with fiancé Jamie Horn.

As she prepares for motherhood, Sheridan speaks about her own battles with mental health, and visits a charity group which offers help and support for other mums-to-be.

The series will also offer a glimpse of Sheridan’s first moments after a mum following the birth of her son Billy.

This is not the first time Sheridan has offered an insight into her pregnancy, as she played a mother-to-be struggling with being alone in lockdown for the ITV series Isolation Stories.

Sheridan revealed in 2017 that she’d struggled with her mental health following the death of her father Colin, telling The Sunday Times Culture: ‘My life was falling apart and I didn’t tell anyone.

‘I was totally terrified that I was going to come unstuck, that I couldn’t hold these feelings of insecurity in much longer without it coming to a head.

‘Which it did last year. My dad getting cancer triggered it, but it had been a long time coming.’

Last week the star also revealed the name of her newborn, after being gifted with a cake to celebrate the end of filming for her documentary.

Sheridan captioned her sweet post: ‘Beautiful cake yesterday made for the little man by lovely Cat and @britruevis at @truevisiontv headquarters.

‘We finished our documentary for @itv, can’t wait for you guys to see it! Been an emotional rollercoaster but worth every second! #becomingmum’

Sheridan announced the news of her son’s birth in a social media post in May and gushed she’s ‘overwhelmed with love’ for the new arrival.

The star shared a first glimpse of the tot’s tiny hand as she told fans: ‘Our little man has arrived! We are both completely overwhelmed with love.’

Sheridan first confirmed that she and partner Jamie Horn were expecting in November, when she shared a snap of a baby blanket embroidered with the name: ‘Baby Smith-Horn.’

A month earlier she also took to Twitter where she posted about preparing for her ‘most important role to date’.

She wrote: ‘Super excited for 2020, gonna finally get to work with a producer I admire hugely! But first, my most important role to date..’ along with emojis of a pregnant woman and a woman cradling a newborn baby.
