Noah Centineo shows off his dramatic physical transformation as he works out shirtless after bulking up for new superhero film Black Adam
Noah Centineo has given fans a glimpse at his impressive physical transformation as he prepares for a new role in the latest addition to the DC universe.
The actor will play musclebound Albert Rothstein – AKA Atom Smasher – in the hugely popular comic and film franchise’s forthcoming release, Black Adam.
With the character’s imposing physical presence in mind, Centineo, 24, has increased his daily calorie intake to over 6,000 and has teamed up with Los Angeles based personal trainer Kirk Myers, owner of US gym chain Dogpound.

In a series of Instagram videos shared by Myers on Wednesday the actor’s progress is evident as he works out shirtless, with his slender frame significantly bulkier and nicely defined.
Centineo has made dramatic changes to his diet and lifestyle in order to keep in step with imposing co-star Dwayne Johnson, who takes the film’s titular lead.
However the American star admitted it isn’t the first time he’s bulked up during an interview with Australian radio show Smallzy’s Surgery in February.

‘Last time I gained, I was eating 6,500 calories a day,’ he recalled, ‘but this time will not be as bad,’ he explained.
Centineo, who previously starred in Netflix romantic comedy All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, also revealed he has been visiting the gym for ‘two hours every day’ for high-intensity interval training sessions.
In March 2020 Noah revealed he had already gained ’30lbs of lean muscle tissue’ for the role.

Coming soon: An official release date for Black Adam is yet to confirmed after production was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic
He shared a video from the gym of himself leg-pressing 810lbs (367kg), and said by the end of his initial training he was able to leg press as much 1,008lbs (457kg).
Production on Black Adam was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, but now appears to be back on track.
An official release date is yet to be announced.
