Tim Robards announces his return to acting in the film Sherbrooke Down: The Road to Cataract after he quit soap opera Neighbours last year
Former Bachelor star Tim Robards has announced he is returning to acting after quitting Neighbours last year.
The chiropractor, 38, revealed on Tuesday he was shooting scenes for the short film Sherbrooke Down: The Road to Cataract.
He offered fans a glimpse of the country town location on Instagram Stories.

Sherbrooke Down is set in 1901, and Tim’s footage showed several extras walking around the location in period costume
He took fans for a stroll down the set’s main street, which he was very impressed by.
He then showed the inside of a bar, and said: ‘This is the scene of the crime tomorrow. I’m going to have a fight, I’m going to throw Patty out that door.’

His mention of Patty was likely in reference to his co-star Patrick O’Connor, who is known for playing Dean Thompson on Home and Away.
The cast also includes Patrick’s girlfriend and fellow actor Sophie Dillman.
Tim captioned the footage of his on-set tour: ‘Tomorrow I have a massive fight scene. I… can… not… wait!’

Tim’s return to acting comes after he announced his departure from Neighbours in August, after playing Pierce Greyson on the soap for two years.
He made the decision to leave so could be with his wife, Anna Heinrich, as she prepared to give birth to their daughter, Elle.
Tim joined the cast of Neighbours in July 2018, and his filming requirements forced him and the Bondi-based lawyer into a long-distance relationship.

For two years, he spent his weeks in Melbourne and returned to Sydney on weekends to be with his wife.
However, last year’s Covid travel restrictions made this commute impossible and he found himself with no choice but to move back to NSW permanently.
Tim and Anna announced the birth of their daughter on November 14.
