‘If someone told me that I’d have a number one in ANYTHING, let alone an album from three years ago when I was in Australia, I’d say that’s bloody ridiculous.’

‘I know I say this a lot, but thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am nothing without you guys and it makes me so happy that this project has connected with y’all in the way that it has,’ he added.

Besides being the first Australian rapper to reach the Billboard top spot, Laroi is also the youngest music artist to reach number one in the charts this decade.

The stateside success comes after Stay also became the No. 1 single on Australia’s ARIA charts last month.

F**k Love 3 was released in late July and includes Stay along with tracks featuring the likes of Lil Durk, Polo G, G Herbo and Mustard.
