Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will return to host Season 18 of The Bachelorette this fall

After successfully stepping in for Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison after his controversial statements, Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are returning to host The Bachelorette.

Adams, 30, and Bristowe, 36, stepped in after Harrison, 50, stepped aside following controversial comments in an interview with Rachel Lindsay.

With their current 17th season coming to a close later this month, Adams and Bristowe were announced to host Season 18 on Bachelor Nation Instagram on Monday, revealing the new season will debut this fall.

Bristowe also commented on Bachelor Nation’s post, stating, ‘So excited. Thank you for having us.’ 

Season 18 will feature Michelle Young, who appeared on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor that debuted in January.

Both Adams and Bristowe’s contracts include ‘multi-year options,’ which is typical for network or studio contracts but also indicates ABC hasn’t found a new permanent host.

David Spade was announced as the guest host for the new season of Bachelor in Paradise, which debuts August 16 on ABC.

The Bachelor typically goes into production in the fall and airs in early January, though there is no release date in place yet.

It also isn’t clear when Season 18 of The Bachelorette will debut, though it’s believed to be sometime in October, sandwiched between Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelor. 

Production is believed to have recently started on Season 18 of The Bachelorette, with Adams and Bristowe said to have been quarantined on the set for the past week. 

Harrison used to host all three shows, and while it was initially believed that his departure was temporary, it became permanent, coming with a $9 million payout.

Adams first appeared on The Bachelor during Colton Underwood’s season, and she would ultimately step in for Clare Crawley last year.

She is currently engaged to Zac Clark, though it’s unclear when the wedding may be taking place.

Bristowe was a contestant on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, before becoming The Bachelorette in Season 11 in 2015, and she also won Season 29 of Dancing With the Stars.
