Love Island’s Aaron and Lucinda admit they’re in the ‘friendzone’ in awkward joint TV interview as he laments missing out on Casa Amor while she chats rekindled romance with Brad
After being dumped from the villa last week, the couple split just days arriving back in the UK.
The events host lamented missing out on spending time in Casa Amor, while the online boutique owner chatted about her recently rekindled romance with ex Brad McClelland, 26.

Aaron said: ‘We were only coupled up for like three or four days. So, we’re like “alright guys, calm down,” but obviously it’s easy to misinterpret.’
Christine turned to Lucinda and stated: ‘And you were recoupling with Brad at the weekend, we saw you met up in the papers!’
Lucinda was photographed looking cosy with Brad McClelland in Brighton, who she was coupled up with before she moved onto Aaron.
Brad had made the selfless decision to leave the villa a few weeks ago after a twist meant that he and Lucinda had to choose which one of them would stay.

Aaron looked notably uncomfortable and when asked about the situation confessed: ‘I’m gutted I missed lads holiday, at Casa Amor.’

The duo were asked about their thoughts on current developments in the villa, with Aaron saying of Liam hooking up with Lillie: ‘He was encouraged. He’s young. He fell off track.
‘Jake encouraged him. And the other boys. They think we won’t find out but it’s on TV!’
Speaking of how Millie has dealt with the fallout, Lucinda said: ‘She handled it so well, I was watching it and crying.

Of Hugo’s current situation, Aaron confessed: ‘I’m not sure he’s into Amy. He said ‘job done’ when he kissed her!!’
Giving her thoughts of the postcard delivery, Lucinda mused: ‘In that situation you don’t know what’s going on, you have to guess. Faye had to guess and she guessed it wrong.’
