She can’t get enough of the Welsh countryside. 

And Carol Vorderman took to Instagram in tight black workout gear to share scenes of her hike to a scenic lake with her followers on Monday. 

The former Countdown host, 60, told her followers she was using a big rock as a ‘table and sofa’ while she relaxed next to the water after her workout.

Carol looked well-rested as she shared her morning hike with her followers in a pair of large black sunglasses. 

She let her chestnut tresses blow freely in the wind and she soaked up the sunshine on the glorious morning. 

Highlighting her natural beauty, Carol went makeup free for the outing and beamed as she sat on rocky beach.  

‘How lovely is that?’ Carol gushed as she panned the camera round to share the gorgeous vista with her fans.

Carol has been loving her staycation in Wales and last week went out to sea on a kayak to catch fish. 

‘What could possibly go wrong,’ joked Carol ahead of the adventurous activity.

She had her friend Hannah with her during the excursion and a hunky man called Joe from Catch And Cook, who was teaching her how to fish. 

Taking to her Instagram stories, the TV personality shared the experience with her fans.

‘This is so cool…. Heres the harbour…. We’re off to catch fish!’ gushed the presenter on her kayak as she laughed with glee. 

‘Look at the view… We’re going there eventually for our tea. Our bbq!’ she added as she pointed towards a picturesque cave.  

Carol laughed and joked with her friend Hannah whose idea it was to go on the adventurous excursion.

Detailing the local wildlife, Carol told her followers: ‘So, now we have to catch our tea.

‘I keep seeing these enormous monster jelly fish but as soon as I go past it I cant see it anymore cause the sunlights so bright. He’s hiding now. 

‘Enormous white jellyfish…probs about a foot diameter on head and two feet long,’ Carol explained.

‘Sooo peaceful out here,’ she added despite the jellyfish all around her. 

Carol then managed to catch a fish and squealed in elation as she held up the tiny morsel for the camera. 

‘Life is good here,’ wrote the presenter as she fell in love with the Welsh seaside.
