Filming for Indiana Jones 5 continued on Saturday and saw Harrison Ford‘s body double once again recording dramatic scenes while riding on horseback.

The stuntman appeared to be filling in for the star, who has been forced to take a break from filming for three months as he recovers from a shoulder injury sustained on set.

Pictures from the set in Glasgow appeared to show a parade scene celebrating Apollo 11’s landing in 1969, with Harrison’s double once again engaged in a dramatic chase.

Back to work! Filming for Indiana Jones 5 continued on Saturday and saw Harrison Ford’s body double once again recording dramatic scenes while riding on horseback

The city has been transformed to look like a street in Manhattan, New York, for the latest scenes.

Harrison’s body double was seen riding a horse through the street wearing Indiana Jones’s signature grey suit and burgundy tie.

He rode the horse, which was adorned with NYPD symbols, alongside various other vehicles in the parade.

The body double followed an open-top red car in which a man and woman, wearing a Miss Manhattan sash, were driving in.

Behind Harrison’s stand in, who had several black dots drawn on his face for CGI in post-production, were two NYPD cops on motorcycles and various other open-top cars.

They were all followed by a procession of cheerleaders with pom poms and majorettes in bright red outfits.

Several floats were also part of the parade, adorned with various messages, including ‘A giant leap for mankind!’ and ‘Welcome Apollo 11 astronauts’.

In between filming Miss Manhattan was spotted walking across the set wearing her bright orange flowing dress and huge tiara with a pair of fluffy slippers on her feet.

The crew were spotted preparing for the scene earlier this week in a car park elsewhere in the city and were finally able to get the cameras rolling.

Filming for the fifth and final Indiana Jones movie in the series was thought to have been pushed back by three months due to Harrison’s injuries, after being originally due for release in 2022.

It’s been a fresh blow for the movie – which sees Mangold taking on directing duties from long-time helmer Spielberg – after shooting was previously pushed back as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

An insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column: ‘It is Harrison’s last outing as Indiana and everyone thought it would be plain sailing.

‘After the initial delays everyone was raring to go. But now Harrison is injured and it is worse than first thought.

‘The film’s bosses have come together to work out the scheduling and it’s chaos. The earliest they think they can restart the production is September.

‘It was not what anyone was expecting so to have to change everything is a huge blow. Everyone was concerned for Harrison and they are glad he is on the mend.’
