Farmer Wants a Wife is rocked by a scandal as farmer Andrew Guthrie’s girls create a ‘kissing pact’

Farmer Wants a Wife is known for helping its contestants find lasting love.

But the Channel Seven dating series faced plenty of drama on Sunday night when farmer Andrew Guthrie’s girls created a ‘kissing pact’.

After sending Lucy Holland home, Rachael Smith suggested to the other women that they shouldn’t tell each other if they’ve kissed Andrew.

The remaining women agreed to the pact, but Jess Nathan admitted: ‘Obviously, I have a bit of a crush so it sucks a little that they’re all desperate to kiss him and they all talk about it a lot as it is.’

The girls then decided to tell Andrew about their ‘kissing pact’.

‘Today we kind of got together as a group and we thought we need to tell you so that you’re aware of it as well,’ Ashleigh Adams said.

Andrew sighed: ‘Here we go.’

Rachael explained: ‘To respect you and to respect each other as we get later in this, it’s better if we don’t share conversations or intimate details to avoid comparing or anyone feeling awkward. To stop gossip. We are here for you and that stuff gets kept private.’

However, Andrew wasn’t impressed the women decided to discuss their decision at an event.

Andrew’s reaction to the pact seemed to create more drama,

‘I feel like it’s so cringey if there is going to be a kiss there is going to be a kiss, you don’t have to prep everyone for it,’ Jess said.

But Rachel defended herself, adding: ‘I have never provoked or tried to create drama. I just feel hurt and that’s the way I feel right now.’
