She wrote at length: ‘I used to workout for physical change… fell into the trap of comparing myself to others and wanted things like a thigh gap, skinnier arms, smaller waist.

‘But no matter what kind of ‘results’ I got, I always wanted more. It wasn’t until I stopped training to look a certain way and stopped restricting what I ate and brought balance into my life that I actually started to appreciate my body.

‘Sure, I gained weight making those changes, but I realized that’s not what mattered. NOW I train to clear my head, have some ‘me time’, give myself energy, feel stronger, challenge myself and I also just love it!

‘You have to find movements that you ENJOY… working out SHOULD NOT be a punishment – it should be a celebration.’

Steph continued: ‘Currently in my postpartum body, I’ll be honest, I’m not feeling 100% myself.

‘But I think that’s because I’m not that same person I was 12 months ago, and when I really think about that, I’m okay with it, as I love being the new me, mother to Harvey. I’m excited to regain my strength.

‘Looking at starting from scratch as an exciting challenge and being kind to myself along the way,’ she concluded.

Harvey was born in the early hours of May 4, but the couple delayed the announcement until May 6.
