Primark-owner Associated British Foods (ABF) will reveal this week whether sales have bounced back at the fast fashion retailer. 

Shoppers have been busy since May 17 on the back of looser restrictions and good weather.

Unlike virtually all its competitors, Primark does not sell any of its products online. 

Retail sales jumped at the fastest pace since 2018 in June. 

Michael Hewson, at CMC Markets UK, said: ‘With retail sales data also showing a big rebound in clothing sales, you have to think that Primark would have captured a good proportion over the last few weeks.’
