Josie Gibson almost goes to the WRONG house twice to surprise winner of Dosh On Your Doorstep

Josie Gibson caused chaos live on Friday’s This Morning as she almost went to the wrong house to surprise a competition winner.

The presenter, 36, was heading to Sheffield to play Dosh On Your Doorstep with Beverly who was in with a chance of winning £1,000.

However Josie had some trouble getting to the home and almost ended up knocking on the door of the wrong house.

She also passed some neighbours who mistakenly thought they could be the winners as she roamed the streets.

She called to some of the locals nearby: ‘I’ve already been rumbled by the neighbours. You thought it was you, didn’t you?? Sorry…maybe next time, maybe next time!’.

The presenter then said: ‘I can see the house’.

Josie then carried on running along the street as back in the studio presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary called Beverly.

Dermot then has to ask Beverly: ‘Beverly, do us a favour, go out in the street and try and find Josie, because she’s lost and she has no idea where you are.’

Beverly agreed to come out but Josie began heading down the stairs of her next-door neighbour instead.

As Josie was nearby, Beverly opened the door and Josie realised her mistake.

Josie then laughed: ‘I got the wrong house, I was about to go to your neighbour’s house!’

The camera then flicked back to the studio where Dermot was seen with his head in his hands.

Josie’s umbrella went flying over the hedge and landed in front of Beverly’s house before she told Beverly that she was live on This Morning.

Josie then said to the presenters in the studio: ‘I am all set Alison, I couldn’t find the house could I, Bev?’

Beverly then won the £1,000 prize and said she would spend it on a summer house for daughter and a disco dome for her birthday.

It comes after last month Josie was left screaming on This Morning after she accidentally fell into a lake while hosting a competition segment from an obstacle course.

The presenter left presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in hysterics in the studio as she exclaimed: ‘That wasn’t mean to happen! My mic is really expensive…’

Proving to be ever the professional, Josie continued to host the competition segment while ‘treading water’ at the inflatable obstacle course in Berkshire.

This Morning then panned onto the presenter being lifted out the water as she attempted to get back onto the inflatable obstacle course.

To which Holly said: ‘Josie, are you alright?’ with Phil quipping: ‘This is not the most dignified!’

After getting back on the obstacle course, Josie said: ‘I am so sorry, my sound man is so angry with me, very expensive piece of kit on my back.’

With a giggling Holly replying: ‘One of my favourite moments of yours ever, Josie!’

Later on the show, Josie offered an update as she said: ‘The mic is fine, I am on dry land, think it’s safe, I am here! I was so busy treading water not to destroy it [the microphone].’
