An emotional Shaynna Blaze WINS Celebrity Apprentice Australia after raising a record $475,000 for her domestic violence charity – which she says will ‘save lives’


On Tuesday’s grand finale episode of Celebrity Apprentice Australia, Shaynna Blaze walked away victorious. 

The final two – Ross Noble, 45, and Shaynna, 58, battled it out to win funds for their chosen charities. 

It was Shaynna who was victorious, raising $326,000 and winning an additional $100,000 for their chosen charity.

The celebrity who earned the most would be crowned the winner after a tense board meeting with Lord Alan Sugar. 

Comedian Ross organised a high-octane bank heist experience for his final challenge. 

It came complete with explosions, electrified stairs and a scary nob boss to get past for the people who took part.

The Block star Shaynna meanwhile held a charity auction, and struggled to move the donated items, including a diamond ring. 

However she managed to find some bidders on the phone and treated the crowd to a singing performance. 

In discussing how much winning would mean to her, Shaynna said she started a domestic violence charity, Voice of Change, as she was ‘not unscathed’ by domestic violence in her own life. 

 

Ross also got emotional during the board meeting, revealing that he feared he would let his charity down when he struggled to sell tickets at first.   

‘It’s very personal to me, as my wife and I, we lost our house in a bushfire and the Red Cross actually supported us. Now I want to support them,’ he told Lord Sugar. 

The British comedian raised $83,500 for his charity after running his heist experience.   

 

However Shaynna smashed the final challenge, raising $326,000 – a total of $426,000 with the additional $100,000 win. 

In total, she earned $475,000 for her charity, which Lord Sugar revealed was a record for Celebrity Apprentice Australia. 

An emotional Shaynna was moved as she former co-stars congratulated her, telling the group that the money she had raised would ‘save lives’.
