‘Pieper and Brendan have been dating for a few weeks now. Either he’ll fly to New York and hang with her, or she’ll fly to Boston to hang with him,’ the source dished.

‘She was most recently in Boston over Memorial Day weekend and they were even spotted out in public together,’ added the insider.

The source added: ‘They’re keeping their relationship under wraps since they’re trying to make it work long-distance and it’s still new.’

To hear the insider tell it: ‘They both are super into each other and are getting to know each other and are just having fun going on dates.’

Inasmuch as they both ‘they hang out in the same Bachelor crowd’ they already had ‘mutual friends’ before they became a pair.

Pieper competed unsuccessfully for the affections of Matt James who was famously the first black man to become The Bachelor.

Although she told him that she was ‘falling in love with’ him she was nevertheless packed off home in the seventh week.

Meanwhile Brendan joined The Bachelorette last year when the title position was held by Clare Crawley, who at 39 was the oldest woman to lead the show.

However in the middle of filming the season it emerged Clare had picked contestant Dale Moss early – reportedly just 12 days after they met – and left the show.

She responded to trolls who said she got engaged too soon by saying to Us Weekly: ‘Who are these people to decide how long it takes somebody to fall in love?’

Clare was quickly replaced with Tayshia Adams as that season’s Bachelorette and Tayshia went onto pick Zac Clark.

After Clare left the show Brendan could be seen chatting with Tayshia about the fact that they had both been through divorces.

However during the second to last episode Brendan sent himself home upon realizing that he was not yet ready to get married again.

He explained to Tayshia that ‘there’s a big part of me that’s still broken, there’s a big part of me that still needs time to heal.’
