Michelle Bridges is FIRED on Celebrity Apprentice after a tense boardroom showdown

The Veronicas’ Jess and Lisa Origliasso ruffled feathers during Tuesday’s episode of Celebrity Apprentice.

Michelle Bridges, who was fired by Lord Alan Sugar, and Scherri-Lee Biggs accused the twin sisters of forming an alliance with David Genat.

During the challenge, the teams were required to create pieces of art and sell their items at auction.

Michelle was given the role of foreman but failed to organise an electrician to assist with creating the art pieces.

Despite failing to fulfil her role, Michelle insisted she had created five pieces of art whereas David had only create one.

The former Biggest Loser trainer, 50,  said: ‘I think David got out of this scot free. He created one piece [of art] and he didn’t even do it all himself.’

Jess then hit back: ‘He was very valuable to our team and has been a very valuable teammate to us through this entire series. We have a long standing relationship with Dave.’

‘The work should stand for itself,’ Michelle responded.

She went on to admit: ‘The electrician was missing in action. He wasn’t answering his phone, he wasn’t picking up, no one knew where he was.’

However host Lord Alan Sugar wasn’t impressed with Michelle’s explanation and said it was her responsibility to organise the tradesman.

‘As a foreman, your job is to ensure the subcontractors get on and do their job,’ he said.

‘It’s a shame the way the cookie crumbles but unfortunately I have to stick to my rules and Michelle, you weren’t a very good forelady… you’re fired.’
