Furious Martha Kalifatidis calls Sunrise host David Koch and DEMANDS an apology after he accused her of elbowing him at the 2019 Logies’
Martha Kalifatidis called up Sunrise host David ‘Kochie’ Koch on live radio on Monday and demanded he apologise for sparking their ‘elbowgate’ feud two years ago.
Kochie, 65, infamously accused the Married At First Sight star, 33, of ‘elbowing’ him in the ribs at the 2019 Logie Awards – but she has always insisted it never happened.
Martha revisited the saga on The Kyle and Jackie O Show during a segment in which she was challenged to settle her various celebrity feuds.

She called up Kochie but he didn’t answer, so she left a message.
‘Hey buddy, it’s Martha Kalifatidis calling you here from Kyle and Jackie O,’ she said.
‘Just wanted to call you up, we are working with Bully Zero, an amazing charity. We thought this would be a great opportunity for you to clean up on air that I never elbowed you on the red carpet and you clearly did that for clickbait and for some attention, which you got.’
She then hung up and radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson declared: ‘It was a sassy message!’

The ‘elbowgate’ saga began at the Logie Awards on June 30, 2019.
The morning after the ceremony, Kochie accused Martha live on Sunrise of elbowing him in the ribs and being ‘pushy’ while trying to get to the media wall.
Kochie’s Sunrise co-host Samantha Armytage claimed that Martha was ‘pushy’ on the Logies red carpet while trying to get to the media wall.

She strongly denied any wrongdoing, but did acknowledge she may have accidentally bumped into someone.
However, photos from the event later proved she and her boyfriend Michael Brunelli had been nowhere near the Sunrise team on the night.
In an emotional video on Instagram – posted two days after she was mocked on air by the Sunrise team – Martha said Kochie and his then co-anchor Sam Armytage were no better than online trolls.
‘I’m a person and I have feelings and Sam and Kochie have caused me so much stress and anxiety these past few days and I just feel like it’s so unnecessary. Like for what, for ratings?’ she said.
‘It’s at the expense of my well-being and it’s not fair!’
‘He [Kochie] just thinks that because I was on a reality TV show that I don’t deserve to get an apology from him or perhaps that I’m beneath him.
‘They’ve continued to mock me every morning on Sunrise, and I just feel like that goes to show you that they’re no better than the thousands of trolling messages I’ve received over the last few months.’
Martha added that she wouldn’t ‘lighten up’ over the situation because she had been ‘falsely accused’ of aggressive behaviour.
Kochie has never apologised for what he said and is yet to comment on Martha’s attempt to contact him on Kyle and Jackie O on Monday morning.
