A string of famous faces stepped out to attend the Australian Fashion Week Future Couture launch in Sydney on Thursday.

Australian model Jessica Gomes and designer Bianca Spender, the daughter of late fashion icon Carla Zampatti, led the arrivals at the glitzy event held at 12-Micron in Barangaroo.

Jessica, 35, wowed in high-waisted black pants and a white bodice that was adorned with a giant, dazzling butterfly-shaped broach.

The brunette beauty accessorised her look with a white gold bracelet and eye-catching earrings.  

Jess let her dark locks hang loosely on the night, and ensured all eyes were on her with a flawless makeup palette.  

Bianca Spender was the definition of chic on the night in a black pantsuit with voluminous sleeves.

The designer added a pop of colour to her ensemble with a pair of blue heels. 

Bianca’s hair was styled in spiral curls, while she donned a bright red lip to finish off her sleek look.

Meanwhile, Sydney influencer Jadé Tuncdoruk wore an eye-catching ensemble by Australian designer Rachael Gilbert.

Her two-toned locks were tied back into a tight topknot, while loose strands framed her Instagram-famous face.  

Jade accessorised her look with a white Chanel  Deauville clutch, which retails for $3000. 

Singer Ruel, whose real name is Ruel Vincent van Dijk, made an appearance at the launch to perform on the night.

He wore a classic black suit and teamed it with a matching black skivvy and trendy trainers. 

Meanwhile, celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson stopped traffic in a fashion forward ensemble by Toni Matičevski.

Australian Fashion Week will showcase the best designs the country has to offer at Carriageworks in Eveleigh, Sydney.

The event runs between Monday 31 May – Friday 4 June, 2021.
