Love Island’s reigning winners Paige Turley and Finley Tapp enjoy a date night

The next series of Love Island is due to kick off next month, with builders recently descending on Majorca to revamp the villa. 

So Winter 2020 contestants Paige Turley and Finley Tapp made the most of their reigning winner status as they enjoyed a date night in Manchester on Thursday. 

Cuddling up close as they headed for dinner at at Boujee Bar and Restaurant, the couple seemed in great spirits on the outing.

Paige, 23, looked effortlessly chic as she slipped into a tan jumpsuit that cinched in at her tiny waist and featured large shoulder pads. 

She teamed the garment with a pair of towering perspex heels and accessorised with a Dior saddle bag. 

Sartorially in sync with his girlfriend, Finn, 21, also donned a Dior bag that he teamed with a black T-shirt and jeans. 

Despite winning the sixth series of Love Island back in January 2020, the pair have remained the reigning champs after the summer series was cancelled when production found it ‘logistically impossible’ to organise the show as the pandemic raged on. 

However, the reality show is due to return to TV in early June and typically runs for eight weeks until August. 

Builders were seen descending on the famous Spanish villa this week, and on Wednesday, a source told The Sun: ‘Love Island bosses are determined to return to the villa this summer and have worked hard to make it happen.

‘Although they are confident the series will go ahead in the original location, there are still concerns over rules suddenly changing. However, at the moment it’s looking good.’

Signs are also on the site, according to eyewitnesses, speculating coronavirus safety measures.  

ITV have yet to make an official announcement about where the dating show will be filmed, though host Laura Whitmore was spotted filming promotional content for the series in east London earlier this month.
