Fifty Shades of Grey’s Jamie Dornan shows off a rugged look in new images for Stan’s six-part thriller The Tourist
Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan will next be seen in Stan’s upcoming original series, The Tourist.
New images for the six-part thriller show the British actor, 39, displaying a rugged look, as his character known as ‘The Man’, is pursued in the Australian outback.
Filmed in South Australia, his character is driven off the road by a tank trunk and ends up in hospital.

Upon waking, he struggles to make sense of his identity as those from his past continue to hunt him down.
In the first look photos, Jamie’s character reveals his rugged look as he’s seen driving a car and filling up his gas tank at a petrol station.
He looks pensive behind the wheel, glancing at the rear view mirror as a truck speeds towards him.

Another image sees Jamie filling up his car with gas, while a further shot captures his character walking along a dirt road with nothing or no one else in sight.
Jamie will star alongside Danielle Macdonald of Dumplin’ fame, Doctor Doctor’s Shalom Brune Franklin, Alex Dimitriades and Damon Herriman.
Damon replaces Hugo Weaving’s role as Agent Lachlan Rogers. Hugo pulled out of the project due to scheduling issues.

Jamie previously said of the role: ‘The Tourist are some of the most exciting scripts I’ve ever read. I can’t wait to go to Australia with such a talented group of people.’
Harry and Jack Williams, Writers and Managing Directors of Two Brothers Pictures, also said: ‘We’re hugely excited about this show. It’s tonally breaking new ground for us, and having Jamie Dornan on board is the icing on the Australian cake.’
Danielle Macdonald added: ‘I ended up reading all the episodes in one sitting because I couldn’t put them down!
‘I’m so excited to get to be a part of this incredible project and I can’t wait to start filming alongside the amazing cast and production team.’
The Tourist is coming soon to Stan.
