Manchester United supporters continued their protests against the club’s owners, the Glazers, as Old Trafford welcomed back fans for the first time in more than 400 days on Tuesday night.
Fans with green and gold scarves and holding placards with ‘Go Glazers Out’ and ’50+1 Time For A Change’ were spotted in the stadium before kick-off against Fulham.
Fans were asked to hold aloft the placards and twirl the anti-Glazer scarves in the 51st minute during the match amid calls for Premier League clubs to follow the German Bundesliga and introduce a rule which means that every club must be 50 per cent owned by the fans.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had warned that his players have been affected by the fan protests about the club’s ownership.
Last week, Solskjaer’s side were beaten by Leicester and Liverpool in the space of 50 hours as a congested fixture list combined with fan discontent to disrupt their planning.
But Solskjaer was upbeat on Tuesday night as 10,000 fans filtered into the stadium to see the Red Devils seek to secure a second-place finish by beating already-relegated Fulham.

He told MUTV: ‘It’s fantastic, just walking out here with the signing, you feel the vibe and the atmosphere straight away.
‘We’re happy to take the first step, it’s different to a full Old Trafford, that will be great but this will be fantastic as well.’
Fans had been locked out since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic

United had bolstered security with dozens of security staff for Liverpool match after the original fixture had been postponed.
Supporters flocked to United’s ground to voice their grumblings with the club’s American billionaire owners, letting off yellow and green flares while displaying anti-Glazer banners.
Images circulating on social media showed a vehicle believed to be an official Liverpool bus blocked off in a side street in Manchester.
However, Klopp’s squad appear to not have been on that bus, with his side seen arriving at Old Trafford in a black coach at roughly 7pm, an hour and 15 minutes before kick off.
