The Bachelor star Emily Ghougassian takes her daughter home from hospital two weeks after giving birth and experiencing serious complications
The Bachelor‘s Emily Ghougassian gave birth to her second daughter, Aisha Céline, six weeks before she was due.
And on Monday, the 37-year-old reality star finally took her baby girl home two weeks after giving birth.
Emily shared several photos to Instagram of herself carrying her daughter after they left the hospital.

She wrote: ‘After a very long, painful, tiring and emotional six weeks or so in hospital, I can’t express how good it feels to all be home and all be well.’
In one picture, Emily held her baby girl, who was wrapped in a pink blanket, close to her chest.
She also shared another photo while carrying Aisha after leaving the hospital.

Emily, who had experienced pregnancy complications that required hospitalisation, gave birth to her daughter six weeks early on May 2.
She shared photos of herself cradling her newborn in the neonatal intensive care unit, and revealed her little girl was ‘doing really well’ despite being more than a month premature.
‘She entered the world on 02/05/21, at 10:32pm, weighing 1.94 kg, six weeks earlier than was intended. She is in the NICU, doing really well, and hopefully moving to the SCN [special care nursery] very soon,’ the proud mother wrote.
Emily described Aisha Céline as ‘our second little premmie princess’, and told fans ‘our little family is complete’.

She and her husband Pierre are already parents to one-year-old daughter Laila, who was also born premature at 33 weeks in July 2019.
The makeup artist had been forced to seek medical treatment for preeclampsia during her first pregnancy two years ago.
She experienced the same problem while pregnant with Aisha.
Preeclampsia is a potentially dangerous pregnancy complication characterised by high blood pressure.

Emily first made a name for herself on Sam Wood’s season of The Bachelor in 2015.
Following her stint on the Channel 10 dating show, she tied the knot with Pierre in August 2018, one year after they first met.
The couple exchanged vows at the Melbourne Town Hall, followed by a reception at The George Ballroom in St Kilda.
