The Wiggles and Sesame Street to collaborate on two new music videos

The Wiggles have announced a new collaboration with iconic educational children’s television series Sesame Street.  

Two music videos will be released to celebrate a combined 80 years of entertainment from the two shows. 

Long-serving Wiggles star Anthony Field said the collaboration makes ‘a lot of sense’ and ‘natural’.

‘Collaborating with Sesame Street feels so natural and makes so much sense,’ Anthony said in a statement.   

‘We share the same desire to consistently make music that entertains and educates. It was particularly fun performing together on this Sesame Street classic.’ 

The Wiggles and Sesame Street will first release the ABCs of Moving You, which is currently available on YouTube.

The clip features Cookie Monster, Elmo and Abby Cadabby and their friends The Wiggles as they dance and sing through the letters of the alphabet. 

They will also release a reimagining of The Wiggles famous song ‘Fruit Salad’, that will show fruit being dropped between screens. That video will be released in June.   

Both brands recently celebrated milestones, with Sesame Street marking its historic 50th season last year.

Sesame Street has been teaching children since 1969.  

Meanwhile, The Wiggles have been entertaining millions of families across the globe for 30 years. 

The band has sold over 30million albums and DVDs, 8million books, as well as accumulating over one billion music streams and 2 billion views on YouTube.
