Five drunk men have been hauled off a plane at Heathrow after allegedly disobeying the captain’s orders.

The suspects, aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s, were arrested after they were said to have been drunk on the aircraft.

Police rushed to Terminal 2 following reports of the disruptive passengers on the flight to Zurich.

The five men were arrested and taken to a west London police station where they remain in custody.

A witness told MailOnline: ‘A Swiss international flight from Heathrow to Zurich after taxiing out returned as armed police came on board to escort five rowdy lads off the aircraft.’

A Met Police spokesman said: ‘Police were called at 18:55hrs on Tuesday, 11 May to Heathrow Terminal 2 following reports of disruptive passengers onboard a flight.

‘Officers attended and five men – aged in their 20s, 30s and 40s – were arrested on suspicion of disobeying captain’s orders and being drunk onboard an aircraft.

‘They have been taken to a west London police station where they remain in custody.’
