EXCLUSIVE: Inside Big Brother star Nicholas Benton’s wedding to girlfriend Lara – as he reveals which housemates attended his big day
He’s the charismatic painter who formed an unlikely friendship with real estate agent-turned-TV villain Daniel Hayes on Big Brother Australia.
And on Monday, evicted housemate Nicholas Brenton revealed despite missing out on the $250,000 prize, he walked away with life-long friends.
The 29-year-old told Daily Mail Australia his new mate made the long trip from Victoria to Adelaide to be at his wedding.
‘For Dan to drive over [to Adelaide] from Victoria that obviously goes to show you how good our relationship was and will continue to be,’ the 29-year-old told Daily Mail Australia.

Also attending the wedding was Cambrai-based sheep farmer, Melissa McGorman and her partner Ryan.
‘I became really good mates with Mel on the show and we’ll be mates forever. I got to meet husband Ryan.
‘I’m still yet to go up to the farm, but I’m sure myself and wife Lara will be going up there sometime soon.’

Nick explained that he struggled mentally during his time in the Big Brother compound.
‘I didn’t realise how intense it was going to be,’ he said. ‘I really struggled, like just the fact that I knew that we weren’t even at half way.’

Nick was sent home after his alliance with Katie Williams, Jess Trend and Marley Biyendolo failed.
Katie turned on him, and after getting nine votes, Nick was the latest housemate to be voted out.
