Ana de Armas shares glam photos and videos from her intimate 33rd birthday party

Ana de Armas shared a number of pictures and videos from her glamorous 33rd birthday party with her more than 4.2 million Instagram followers on Saturday.

In addition to a snap of her silver birthday balloons in her pool, the Golden Globe nominee shared footage of herself blowing out the candles on her cake. 

‘I’m so grateful I got to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones. Thank you for the gifts, letters, flowers, cakes, and all the love! Cheers to an incredible year ahead!’ the 33-year-old Knives Out star gushed. 

For the special occasion, the Cuban-Spanish actress wore a dress with green and white flowers as she rang in another year of life surrounded by friends and family.  

She still her dark brown hair in a sleek updo and jumped for joy while preparing to indulge in some dessert. 

A handsome man held onto her cake as her loved ones cheered and sang to her.   

In the final seconds of the video, they shared a side hug. 

The beauty’s celebration came months after she split from Ben Affleck, 48, in January after almost a year of dating. 

The pair first met on the set of their soon-to-be released erotic thriller Deep Water, which began filming in New Orleans in November 2019. 

They seemed to be inseparable as they spent much of the pandemic together last year, taking daily walks with Ana’s dog and grabbing coffee.

‘The quarantine was unique because they had downtime and ­really got to know each other spending time at home,’ a source told Page Six at the time.  

But it seems that once work picked up again, things changed in their relationship.

‘Ana decided she doesn’t want to live in LA and Ben wants to be close to his family,’ they added of Ben’s three children with ex Jennifer Garner. ‘His priority is to be rooted in LA. They are in different places [in their lives].’

Now, Affleck is sparking romance rumors with his ex-fiancé, who he whisked away on a private jet this past weekend for a romantic getaway trip to a luxury ski resort in Montana, where the actor is understood to own a chalet. 

The former celebrity couple – who were engaged in 2002 but postponed their 2003 wedding and officially split in 2004 – have been seen reuniting with one another following JLo’s split with ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez, and the revelation that Ben has been an active user on the celebrity dating app Raya. 

Talking about their getaway, a source told PEOPLE on Monday: ‘[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It’s all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy.’

Things certainly seemed to have gone well between the former couple as another source added for People later that day: ‘She had a great time with Ben. She is happy with him and enjoys spending time with him.’

Known as ‘Bennifer’ at the time of their romance, recent reports have suggested that the pair are now ‘just friends,’ though it certainly appears that they have grown much closer over the past few weeks.

Last month, Ben was seen arriving at Jennifer’s home in a white Escalade SUV that is said to belong to the Hustlers star. He was later seen being dropped off by the singer’s security.
