Orlando Bloom wished love Katy Perry a happy Mother’s Day on her first as a mom on Sunday after welcoming daughter Daisy Dove last year.

The 44-year-old actor was seen in fishing gear in a a photoshopped pic in which he stood in a lake while holding a mermaid incarnation of his fiancee, Perry, 36.

‘Got myself a real catch,’ he wrote, with an emoji of a fish and a heart. ‘Sending love and respect to all the amazing people who have shaped our lives, supported us and loved us unconditionally. Happy Mother’s Day.’

The occasion marked Perry’s first Mother’s Day as a mom since giving birth to Daisy last August; Orlando is father to son Flynn, 10, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

‘I found everything [I] was ever searching for when [I] became a mother,’ the American Idol judge wrote on Twitter Sunday. ‘So grateful for that profound, deep love and honored to join the mama club. [Happiest] Mother’s Day.’

In a recent promotional clip for Tiny Kitchen , Perry said one of the ‘best parts’ of motherhood is feeding her daughter.

The Dark Horse hitmaker opened up about meal times with her little one, revealing it is her mother Mary Perry who inspired both her and Daisy’s love of healthy eating.

‘She loves her milks,’ the Firework artist said. ‘She’s had peas, she’s had carrots, she’s had squash. She just started eating oatmeal and it’s all over her face this morning, that’s the best part. And the noises that they make when they eat … it’s so cute.

‘My mom was always putting together a salad or a concoction to keep us well, and we generally did. We generally benefited from that health, from my mother. So when I think of my mother I think of food, I think of health.’

Perry earlier this year took to Instagram Live to open up about lessons she’s learned early on as a parent.

‘I think that you realize that when you become a mother … you just have to focus on being a mom,’ she said in January. ‘And it’s not because you don’t love other people, it’s not because of anything besides you just want to be a great mom.

‘It’s really encouraged me to be even more present and to value every day. And all we have is this moment. That’s what’s promised is this moment and nothing else.’
