Rugby WAG Mel Hoffman says fellow footy wives Rebecca Judd and Nadia Bartel ‘aren’t relatable’ because they’re too stylish and glamorous

Mel Hoffman has revealed that she doesn’t think WAGs Rebecca Judd and Nadia Bartel are all that relatable. 

In an interview with The Herald Sun, the wife of rugby player Ryan Hoffman said that she is a fan of the pair, but they seem quite glamorous.   

‘I follow them absolutely, (but) I could never hope to emulate any of their style and poise,’ she told the paper.

‘In a strange way they’re not relatable because they’re so fabulous and so stylish and so confident, but in other ways they are relatable because they’re just Aussie women and a lot of them are entrepreneurial and you’ve got to take your hat off to that.’ 

Mel added that she does admire the way the pair have built successful careers.

‘As women we’ve just got to make the most of the opportunities we have and as a fellow woman I’m really excited when I see them do well,’ she said.

Mel, who is the author of the memoir Full Credit to the Boys, married Melbourne Storm payer Ryan, 37, in 2010. 

It comes after Rebecca Judd was  rated among Australia’s most popular beauty influencers. 

In a list compiled by website LOOKFANTASTIC, the WAG came in sixth on the list, beating Zoë Foster Blake in seventh position.

The 38-year-old has been married to AFL player Chris Judd since 2012, and they have four children. 

She is close friends with Nadia Bartel, 35, who married AFL player Jimmy Bartel in 2014. 

The pair, who have two children together, split in 2019.
