A man has been left dumbfounded after realising the flat he has been living in for two years has a dishwasher.
Tom Hale had been washing up by hand for 24 gruelling months at his pad in the capital.
The flabbergasted Londonder shared the hilarious gaffe to Twitter and penned: ‘I am in shock. Lived in this flat for two years and only just discovered TODAY it has a dishwasher.
‘I thought it was a fake cupboard. I’ve wasted days of my life washing up.’

Folded up on the sink next to the machine was a rather sad-looking pair of marigolds and a well-used washing-up sponge.
Social media users flocked to the comments, equally as bamboozled by the incredible find.
‘The fact that at no point did you give it a quick yank speaks volumes about your levels of curiosity. That closed cupboard is none of my business,’ wrote one.

A second penned: ‘I’m literally screaming at this. How did you not know you had a dishwasher. It’s not even directly under the sink,’ while a third added:
