Iggy Azalea shares new photos of son Onyx’s first birthday

Rapper Iggy Azalea just celebrated her son Onyx’s first birthday. 

And the 30-year-old looked like any other doting mother as she shared new photos from the lavish party. 

The Australian singer, who shares the adorable little man with ex-boyfriend Jordan Terrell Carter, a.k.a. Playboi Carti, doted over the youngster. 

The photos showed a black jumpsuit-clad Iggy cradling onto the little guy as he made an animated face. 

Iggy wore her blonde tresses in twists but allowed strands of her fringe to fall and frame her face. 

Other photos showed Onyx playing in a ball pit at the rapper’s house. 

‘Just got back the film from onyxs party. Love my baby,’ she wrote. 

Iggy shared a number of photos of her son’s lavish party late last month. Onyx was dressed in a green Gucci onesie and white Adidas trainers. 

Iggy also shared a video of the delicious food spread, which included a number of salads and a make-your-own-hamburger station.  

It comes after Iggy shared a sweet tribute to her only child earlier that day, posting several photos of the boy on Instagram.

‘Happy 1st Birthday to my favorite person in the entire universe!’ she wrote.

‘I never thought I could love anything or anyone this much, Onyx you’re a joy. Your happiness is my happiness.’   

Iggy said earlier that week she was planning a week-long celebration for her son’s birthday.

The chart-topping hip-hop star took to Twitter to describe Onyx as her ‘bestie’.

Iggy, who split from Playboi Carti last year, tweeted: ‘It’s Onyx’s bday all week so I’m outtttt… gotta hang with bestie.’  

Iggy remained tight-lipped about her son’s arrival last year, waiting until June before she confirmed the news on social media.

And the Work hitmaker – who has previously dated A$AP Rocky and basketball star Nick Young – recently revealed she was enjoying her life as a single woman.

She wrote: ‘One year later and 100 times happier, I love that for me.’

Iggy has said she isn’t in a rush to find a new boyfriend, revealing other things are topping her list of priorities.  

She said on Twitter: ‘I have a list of things I need to get and a man just didn’t make the final cut.’ 

The rapper – who moved from Australia to the U.S. in her teens to pursue her music career – said: ‘It seems silly but when I first had my son I felt embarrassed to read books aloud and put on silly voices etc. but now I get so into it and I don’t even care.’
