Drew Barrymore gets: ‘home is where we are’ tattooed onto her forearm on her talk show

Drew Barrymore got a new tattoo applied to her right forearm on this Thursday’s episode of her talk show.

The 46-year-old actress already has several tattoos and her latest one is the phrase ‘home is where we are,’ written in cursive.

‘I came up with this phrase and I’ve been saying it to myself for the last five years, it’s: “Home is where we are,”‘ she said on The Drew Barrymore Show.

‘You know if you are somewhere on vacation or you are in a rental or you are in transition or you have to move from state to the next, if you’re together, that’s where home is,’ explained the Charlie’s Angels actress.

‘Home is where we are and wherever life takes you, if you are lucky enough to be alongside of people you love then to me, that became the definition of home. Thank you for putting this most important life lesson on my arm for me.’

The new tattoo has been placed smack dab in between two tattoos Drew has already gotten applied on her right forearm.

One piece of ink near her elbow is of a bird, while another bit of body art around her wrist is the names of her daughters Olive, eight, and Frankie, seven.
