She may be enjoying a real-life romance with NFL star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

But the penalty flag may need to be thrown for Shailene Woodley’s latest on-screen romance.

The 29-year-old actress portrays a woman involved in a passionate, yet forbidden love affair in the trailer for time-hopping romance film The Last Letter From Your Lover released on Tuesday.

Ellie and Rory, who are involved in their own modern day romance,  come to the realization that the ending of Jennifer and Anthony’s love story is still yet to come as they are both still living.
