Melissa Ruthven has confirmed that boyfriend Bryce Ruthven finally likes her green eyes after previously stating that he was only attracted to blue-eyed beauties.
During a conversation on their joint podcast, What Happens After, Melissa grilled Bryce about the eye situation until he confessed that he now found her gaze attractive.
Bryce also admitted that he regretted being so ‘brutally honest’ with his bride when it came to her looks.

‘Our relationship is a real test of how things can grow over time if you just let them happen,’ he said.
‘For example, me going away from my usual type and getting to know someone for all their qualities, not just their aesthetics, and look at how we are now.’
A blunt Melissa then responded: ‘So what do you think of my green eyes?’
‘I like them,’ Bryce said. ‘I’ve become really attracted to them.’
‘I like them,’ Bryce said of Melissa’s light green eyes. ‘I’ve become really attracted to them’
‘Just like?’ Melissa said, seemingly still unimpressed with Bryce’s response. ‘I love them?’ he shot back sheepishly. ‘What do you want me to say?’
Melissa recently responded to rumours that she’d started wearing blue contact lenses to please Bryce.
Addressing the speculation, Melissa told The Kyle and Jackie O Show last month that she’s still showing off her natural green eyes.

‘No, I can’t even stick my own finger in my eye let alone put a contact in!’ she exclaimed.
‘I love my eye colour,’ she continued. ‘I don’t give a stuff what Bryce thinks about my eye colour, I think green eyes are awesome!’
Bryce memorably left Melissa almost inconsolable when he admitted his type was ‘blonde hair, blue eyes’ during the honesty box experiment.

In brutal scenes that aired back in February, Melissa turned to Bryce and asked: ‘Am I your usual type?’
After taking a moment to think, Bryce responded: ‘It’s a tough question. I’ll be completely honest. Not 100 per cent.
‘I’ve always gone for the blonde hair, blue eyes, tanned kind of girl, and someone that’s, like, usually taller.’

On Sunday’s reunion special, Melissa and Bryce were defiant on the couch as they sat across from the experts in tense scenes on the show.
Watching her final vows with Bryce, Melissa said: ‘Gosh, I just got emotional just then watching that part with you, where you broke down.’
‘That was a real turning point for me. That’s when I knew I was not only falling in love with Bryce but I was in love with him.’
