Big Brother host Sonia Kruger reveals the ‘lame’ reason she would be the first person evicted from the house

Sonia Kruger may be the popular host of Big Brother, but she admits she would not last a week in the house.

The 55-year-old told this week’s issue of Stellar that she is a bit of a neat freak, and would drive everyone mad in a heartbeat.

‘I’m really not cut out for sharing and would, in fact, be the most annoying housemate of all time if I were to ever go into the Big Brother house,’ she said.

It’s time to go! Sonia Kruger (pictured) may be the popular host of Big Brother, but she admits she would not last a week in the house. The 55-year-old told this week’s issue of Stellar that she is a bit of a neat freak, and would drive everyone mad in a heartbeat

‘I would be the bore lecturing people about picking up their towels and bitching about the housemates who didn’t wash their plates after a delicious serving of oatmeal rations.’

Sonia went on to describe her obsession with cleaning as ‘lame’ but she just can’t help it.

She added: ‘I would probably be the first housemate nominated, followed by a landslide vote and an explosive eviction ceremony, where I would let rip about being the only one to empty the bins and storm out, taking all the Chux with me just to spite the others.’

On Wednesday, Sonia showed the grim reality of hosting Seven’s popular show in a behind-the-scenes photo shared to her Instagram page.

The blonde posted a candid shot of herself on-set in a beautiful black evening gown – but because of the cold weather, she was forced to hold a hot water bottle, a cup of tea and straddle a heater with a sleeping bag wrapped around her legs.

‘Things do get quite frosty in the Big Brother house tonight!’ she laughed.

While the new season is in full swing, Sonia recently revealed what it takes to make it all the way to the end on Big Brother.

According to the hostess with the mostess, it all comes down to reading the room – and managing to remain neutral.

‘To get to the end of the game, housemates need the ability to read a room quickly and adapt,’ said Sonia.

‘They have to be able to keep secrets and yet appear to be open and honest. They need to play all sides and somehow remain Switzerland. In short, they need to have all the attributes of a politician’.
