Guess who’s BACK? Celeb Spellcheck shares cryptic Eminem photo

It’s been almost three weeks since Australia’s infamous gossip account Celeb Spellcheck announced it would ‘retire’ from Instagram.

But the sigh of relief from the nation’s influencers was short-lived when the notorious ‘snark’ account shared a cryptic post on Tuesday.

Now the recently wiped feed has been populated with a new image of American rapper Eminem, perhaps signaling that they’re back… back again.

Guess who’s back? Back again! Celeb Spellcheck has shared a cryptic photo of American rapper Eminem – just weeks after wiping the infamous gossip account and having multiple spoof pages try to unofficially take over their shady legacy

Eminem’s famous 2002 hit Without Me is known for its lyrics ‘Guess who’s back? Back again. Shady’s back. Tell a friend’, and his 2000 hit The Real Slim Shady sings: ‘Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?’

After numerous spoof accounts popped up in hopes of unofficially taking over Celeb Spellcheck’s shady legacy, it appears the mysterious account owner was using Eminem’s image to show they were the REAL, original shade account.

Despite the account’s bio saying ‘retired’, it appears Celeb Spellcheck may be ready to make a mighty comeback.

The popular Instagram account famous for mocking celebrities and influencers in online posts has always kept its administrator anonymous, and commenting capabilities on recent uploads have been turned off.

On Tuesday, the notorious ‘snark’ account – which garnered more than 160,000 followers – made a very cryptic return to the social media site, sharing an image of one of the Olsen twins making her way through paparazzi with no explanation.

The anonymous account owner shared no caption alongside it, causing speculation among its devoted fans and influencer frenemies.

Within an hour, the snap had raked in well over 5,000 likes from fans no doubt eager to see if it would be a more permanent return.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Celeb Spellcheck for further comment.

The hugely popular account was created several years ago, with the intention of mocking celebrities for making typos in sponsored Instagram posts.

But it later transformed into a platform for holding influencers to account for their lies and irresponsible behaviour.

The page’s administrator, a Melbourne woman in her late twenties, announced she was shutting down the page on April 11.

‘After weighing up many options, the time has come for me to say goodbye to Celeb Spellcheck,’ the user wrote.

‘This account has become too big, too powerful and too time consuming for me to enjoy running it anymore.’

They continued: ‘I will be permanently deleting the account tomorrow.’
