And before she joined the cast of Seven’s reality show, her daughter Martha – who starred on Married At First Sight in 2019 – had a few words of advice to share.
‘She just said to me be yourself, because people will read that it’s not you, so just be yourself,’ Mary, 56, said on The Morning Show.

It comes after Mary revealed to week’s New Idea magazine she’d waited for an opportunity like Big Brother for years.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot Mary in the promo, flooding the show’s Instagram page with excitable comments.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia earlier this month, a well-placed insider claimed producers were desperate for Mary and Martha to appear on the Channel Seven show together, but were forced to change plans at the last minute.
‘Martha has a good thing going with Nine and suggested that Mary would be perfect for the show,’ they said.
‘Mary is already popular with a lot of MAFS fans. They all love her. She will bring a lot of drama into the house and is very well liked and not afraid to speak her mind.’
