Ryan Murphy sells sprawling Beverly Hills mansion he purchased from Diane Keaton for $16.25M

He’s known for making magic on screen as the creator of some of television’s most-watched programs.

And Ryan Murphy reduced the size of his impressive real estate portfolio by selling his sprawling Beverly Hills mansion for $16.25million, according to property reports.

The 55-year-old writer took a nearly $2million cut from the original listing, which was first placed on the market for $18 million in September 2019 and previously owned by Diane Keaton.

Murphy purchased the 1920’s Spanish Colonial style villa (which was designed by famed architect Ralph Flewelling) in 2010 for a cool $10M.

The nearly 8,500-square-foot home is tucked away south of Sunset Boulevard with privacy features including a gate and tall, lush landscaping.

Arched fireplaces and hand-forged wrought iron accents are found throughout the seven-bedroom, seven-bath home.
