Justin Theroux is seen out on a rare occasion without his beloved pooch Kuma as he cruises along on his bike through the streets of New York City

He is set to appear in a miniseries adaptation of a novel by his very own uncle later this week.

And on Monday, Justin Theroux was seen riding along on his shiny golden bicycle through the streets of New York City.

The actor, 49, managed to look stylish as he rode a long, wearing a comfy-looking cream jacket and fitted olive green cargo pants.

The Leftovers star looked to be wearing a white T-shirt underneath his jacket.

He wore black socks and matching sneakers with white soles. 

On his head, Justin sported a black ski cap, and he masked up with a matching face covering.

He shielded his eyes from the sunshine with small sunglasses.

On Friday, Apple TV+ will debut Justin‘s upcoming miniseries The Mosquito Coast.

The dramatic thriller, about an idealistic man who relocates his family to the wilds of Latin America, is based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Paul Theroux, Justin‘s uncle.

Justin is also named for the celebrated travel writer and novelist, as his middle name is Paul.

The Mosquito Coast was previously adapted into a 1986 film starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, along with the late River Phoenix.

The new iteration featuring Justin costars Melissa George, Kimberly Elise and Logan Polish.
