Dancing with the Stars: All Stars: Bec Hewitt wants to return to acting

Bec Hewitt sparks rumours she’s returning to Home and Away as she admits she’d ‘love to do another acting job’ after her TV comeback on Dancing with the Stars

She played Hayley Smith Lawson on Home and Away from 1998 to 2005.

And 16 years after leaving Summer Bay and retiring from acting, Bec Hewitt has revealed she wants to return to her old profession.

The mother of three, 37, who stepped away from the spotlight after marrying tennis star Lleyton Hewitt, told The Daily Telegraph: ‘I would love to do another acting job.’

‘I love working with creative people so we’ll see what happens,’ she added.

Since quitting Home and Away at the height of her fame, Bec has focused on raising her and Lleyton’s three children, Mia, Cruz and Ava.

While family has been her priority, she has taken occasional TV roles over the years, such as hosting Seven travel show Helloworld.

She returned to the small screen recently on Dancing with the Stars, placing runner-up to Luke Jacobz during Sunday night’s finale.

Bec narrowly missed out on victory after delivering an impressive performance with her dance partner Craig Monley.

However, it wasn’t enough to topple Luke’s dazzling routine with Jorja Freeman,

Bec had previously won the glitterball trophy with Michael Miziner back in 2004, when she was still on Home and Away.

Dancing with the Stars  was the most-watched non-news program of Sunday night with 802,000 metro viewers.

This figure swelled to 827,000 for the winner announcement, reports Mediaweek
