‘She was devastated’: Agent to the stars Melanie Blake is left ‘shaken’ after ‘thieves steal £100k worth of her designer handbags and jewellery’
Celebrity agent Melanie Blake was left ‘shaken,’ after she was targeted by thieve(s) who stole her jewellery and five Chanel handbags, it was reported on Monday.
The businesswoman, who has managed a myriad of celebrities including Coleen Nolan and Beverley Callard, was said to be ‘devastated’ after the criminal(s) stole her personal and prized possessions.
Her friend revealed to The Sun on Monday: ‘Melanie’s heart was in her mouth when she discovered the theft.

‘She’s worked hard for what she has, nothing was ever handed to her, and so for someone to take it from her has shaken her.’
Melanie previously spent thousands of pounds acquiring the jewellery of the late author Jackie Collins.
But thanks to an extraordinary fluke, the items were used for filming at the time of the burglary so they were not taken.
The agent and author has now bolstered her security and moved all of her remaining valuables to a safe deposit box.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of the thieve(s) but no arrest(s) has been made, as of yet.
However, the robber could be someone close to Melanie as the insider stated she ‘allowed’ them into her house.
They continued: ‘Despite her tough exterior she’s a kindhearted and generous woman who is always happy to help anyone, so she was devastated that someone she’d allowed in her home could betray her trust in such a way.’

The close source added that the items stolen have ‘huge sentimental value’ beyond their monetary worth, noting her 18 carat Columbian emerald ring and Cartier gold and diamond curtain earrings from the 1980s which she wore for her book advert campaign.
The source added: ‘Melanie understands the chances of finding them now are slim but she’s still hopeful they might turn up if the public see photos of them as they are so distinctive.’
Melanie said on Twitter: ‘If anyone see’s any of my stolen jewellery please dm me & if it leads to it being returned – they’ll be a reward x.’
