The Block’s Tess Struber shares intimate photo of her newborn baby

They’re The Block champions who welcomed their first child, a baby girl called Cleo Sophia, on Wednesday.

And just days after her arrival on Sunday, Tess Struber shared a heartwarming photo alongside her husband Luke in the touching moments after their daughter’s arrival.

The image showed Tess clearly overcome with emotion, while a smiling Luke closed his eyes while leaning on his wife’s shoulder.

Tess captioned the image: ‘There are no words. I fell in-love with Luke all over again on the 21/4. There is no way I would have been able to get through this day without him.

‘Then together, we met our greatest accomplishment yet – Cleo Sophia. We did it, as a family. Can’t wait for Cleo to meet her big sister Tilly,’ she added, referring to the pair’s pet dog. 

Days earlier, the pair announced the news on their joint Instagram page.

‘Our baby girl Cleo Sophia Struber, born 21/4 at 6:30pm, named after her great grandmother, Cleopha,’ the proud parents shared.

‘Cleo and Tess are both doing great and we are soaking up every second with our baby girl. We are so in love. She’s got Dad wrapped around her finger already!

‘Thank you for all your messages, we appreciate it so much.’

The couple accompanied the heartfelt caption with a sweet black and white photo of Luke cradling little Cleo in his arms.  

Tess and Luke first announced they were expecting a child in The Sunday Telegraph’s Stellar magazine in November.

At the time of publication, Tess, who was almost 20 weeks pregnant, said parenthood was something they had been planning on.  

‘We’re having a baby, and we’re so excited. It’s something we’ve been planning on for a while, and the stars aligned perfectly,’ she gushed.

Tess went on to say that while it wasn’t the easiest pregnancy, she’s ‘loving every minute’. 

‘I’ve lost my hair, I’ve had skin issues, I’ve been sick every day, I’ve had migraines, nose bleeds… but I’m loving every minute of it.’
