Love Island’s Grant Crapp shares sweet footage of his newborn daughter Charli

He welcomed his first child, a daughter name Charli Zoe, with his girlfriend Lucy Cartwright on Monday, April 19. 

And just a week after the little one’s arrival, former Love Island star Grant Crapp shared an adorable video of his newborn as he cradled her in his arms.

The 25-year-old couldn’t stop smiling as he propped up the dozy tot against his chest, before placing a tender kiss on her cheek.

‘Charli, Charli! She’s about to wake up,’ Grant laughed. ‘Look at the little face on her. Hello little girl!’

Grant had announced his baby’s birth on Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a photo of his girlfriend, Lucy, asleep alongside their newborn daughter.  

‘Charli Zoe Crapp, born 19th April 1:29pm. Lucy done an amazing job… far better than I ever could and it was definitely an experience!’ he captioned the sweet post.

‘My respect for women has risen immensely. Women are truely [sic] amazing humans that us men are fortunate to have. 

‘Thank you @treasureluce for bringing our daughter to the world. You are the best mum and I couldn’t be more grateful to have you in my life forever! Bring on more.’

Grant first announced that he and his on-off girlfriend of over two years were expecting in December.

The electrician shared a photo of the beaming pair on a beach, with heavily pregnant Lucy already sporting a blossoming bump. 

He also revealed that they were expecting a girl, and confessed he was ‘so excited’ for the next stage of his life.

‘BABY CRAPP DUE APRIL – so excited to be a dad! She’s going to be soo cute!! I can’t wait to meet her,’ he wrote at the time.

The expectant parents hosted a pink-themed baby shower in March, complete with a pink balloon tree.

Grant shared a photo of himself cradling Lucy’s belly as she stood alongside him in a figure-hugging pink dress.

‘I have no patience… can’t wait to meet her #babycrapp,’ he captioned the post.
