Dakota Johnson steps out with barefoot beau Chris Martin in Malibu

They have been happily loved-up for more than four years and recently ignited engagement speculation when she was seen flashing a ring.

And Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin looked happier than ever as they stepped out for lunch and coffee in Malibu, California on Saturday.

The Fifty Shades actress, 31, and the Coldplay frontman, 44, enjoyed a break from their hectic schedule as they soaked up the sun and chatted.

Dakota cut an edgy figure in a black top with spaghetti straps paired with ripped jeans and trainers.

She added a pop of colour with a lime green woollen hat and sported a black face mask and glasses.

Chris wore a black tee and baseball cap, teamed with grey joggers, going barefoot for the outing. 

Dakota and the Coldplay frontman have been together for at least four years, ever since they were spotted out on a sushi dinner in Los Angeles in 2017.

Last month Dakota sparked engagement speculation when she was seen sporting a giant emerald ring on her left ring finger. 

And while the pair have remained relatively private about their relationship, the Suspiria star was recently seen visiting the site of the Malibu house she has moved into with Martin, 44.

Chris has two children with his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow – daughter Apple, 16, and son Moses, 14.   

He and the Oscar-winner, 48, were married from 2013 until 2016, when they famously ‘consciously uncoupled’ from one another.

Dakota, for her part, has previously been in relationships with musician Noah Gersh and actor Jordan Masterson.

She is currently at work shooting a new film, a biographical movie titled Am I OK?
