Elsa Pataky is totally jacked as the actress gets a biceps pump between takes on Interceptor 

Her action star husband Chris Hemsworth is known for his jaw-dropping physique.

But Elsa Pataky is challenging the Thor actor in the muscular stakes, with the 44-year-old sharing a behind-the-scenes video of her bulging biceps on Wednesday.

The mother-of-three was recorded getting a ‘pump’ before cameras rolled.

A pump occurs when a person lifts weights and gets a temporary rush of blood to the area, increasing the size of the muscle.

Elsa captioned the post, ‘Pump those biceps before shooting!’

Rather than using weights, the actress used the resistance of her trainer Tim’s hands to achieve the pump in her arms.

Elsa is playing the lead role in Netflix’s Interceptor. Her character is a woman who must save the world from 16 nuclear missiles.

The exciting new movie is filmed in Sydney.

Elsa’s husband Chris is producing Interceptor alongside Kathy Morgan, Christopher Mapp, Robert Slaviero, and Peter D. Graves.

Last month, her husband’s personal trainer Luke Zocchi put Elsa through her paces during a tough workout focusing on her back, arms and shoulders. 

‘Look at the shred! There is a new big dog in town,’ Luke said as he filmed Elsa during her sweat session.

Luke not only trains Chris, but also Chris’ stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton.

Bobby was heard in the gym cheering on Elsa, yelling: ‘Yes, Elsa! Smashing it!’ 

In previous training videos, Elsa has also demonstrated her ability to perform one-arm push-ups.
