Yet football ace Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared to overshare by accident on Thursday evening as fans were convinced he had launched an Instagram live while using the toilet, with unusual signs indicating the gaffe.
The Liverpool ace, 27, who is dating Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, started a live video with a pitch black screen while the sounds of running water played, before he said ‘Yeah?’ and then what seemed to be a zip doing up played.

Alex boasts an eye-popping 4.8million Instagram followers and some of those had their eyes to their phones in the wee hours when he started the street at 1.30am.
Although their is nothing to say he was on the toilet, fans insisted the very convincing noises pointed to the fact he had made the gaffe.
The Twitter user who screengrabbed the video penned: ‘What has happened to our club Oxlade chamberlain has just gone live while on the toilet’.
Another fan shared the video on Instagram and wrote: ‘went live at 1:30 in the morning. Here is my screen recording for anyone who didn’t see it’.

Alex and Perrie moved in together back in 2019 and gave fans a glimpse inside their Cheshire pad earlier last year amid ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
It was reported in January that they are moving to a road in Wilmslow, Cheshire, where former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson lives.

The pair were said to have splashed out for a luxury £3.8million property on the private street back in August, according to The Sun.
Sir Alex, 79, is set to have the midfielder, 27, who plays for Man Utd’s rival club Liverpool, as a new neighbour alongside the Little Mix singer, 27.
A source told The Sun: ‘Sir Alex is a big fan of football as everyone knows, but no one is sure what he makes of Little Mix’s music.’
