Channel Nine has confirmed Rebecca Judd will not return to present their TV show Postcards.

Speaking to The Herald Sun, executive producer Mel Zahra revealed on Friday: ‘It’s not been as successful as it’s been without the heavy lifting from people like Bec over a long period of time.’

‘She made a statement about wanting to focus on her family and that’s understandable,’ she added.

In November 2020, Bec announced her departure from KIIS FM’s 3pm Pick-Up radio show after four years on the air.

At the time, she said: ‘This is the first time since Chris finished football which would have been back in 2015 that we haven’t had any commitments… and this year has taught us that we just want to take a step back and not really have those weekly commitments.’

She also admitted that with her twins beginning their school years soon, she wanted to spend as much quality time with them as possible.

‘I’ve got such a young family, I’ve got one year left at home with them and we just really want to as a family really make the most of those golden years because they’re slipping away those golden years.

‘It was something that we’ve spoken about for a long time, my husband and I, but it’s been one of those years where you just really re-evaluate your life — where you’re going, what you’re doing and we’ve seen so many big changes in lots of people lives. And this is ours,’ she added.

At the end of the episode, Rebecca’s husband Chris sent her an emotional message, writing: ‘I know you’ll miss it but plenty more adventures to come’.
